The Top 3 Benefits Of Putting Down Synthetic Grass In Your Property.

If you are now spending some much-needed time and energy on your yard then you should know that you are not alone and there are hundreds of thousands of other Australians there are making the decisions that you will be making this week. We all want to have a beautiful front and back yard but we don’t want to be committing too much of our time to it and so we have some important choices to make. You could decide to put down real grass or you could go for the option that many Australians are choosing to pick and that is to put down a grass alternative.

I am of course talking about synthetic turf grass and if you look around many different properties the length and breadth of the country, you will notice that many people are leaning in the same direction as you are. We just don’t have the time any more to spend countless hours mowing the lawn and then raking up the grass and so this is a time saver and a lifesaver as well. If you’re still a little bit on the fence when it comes to choosing synthetic or real grass and you’re curious to know if the grass is in fact greener on the other side, then maybe the following benefits of choosing synthetic grass can help you to make the right decision.

  • It can handle the weather – Many people are worried that synthetic grass can put up with the different extremes of weather that we experience here all across Australia. We do know that the sunshine can damage real grass if it is not water on a regular basis and you don’t have such problems with this artificial alternative. It is able to put up with the Sun and rain without any issues at all and you won’t be cutting it once or twice a week.
  • It can last a decade or more – If you take proper care of your synthetic turf and you follow the instructions that you are given when you purchase it, then there is no reason why it shouldn’t last you more than a decade and many people have reported experiencing 15 years or more. It will keep its colour for many years and you won’t experience any bald patches.
  • You save money on water bills – Most Australians are surprised at the amount of money that they spend on watering there are lawn every single year and, in many cases, it can run into many hundreds if not thousands of dollars. No such watering is needed for your synthetic grass and so this is money saved which stays in your wallet or purse.

There is so much less maintenance involved when you go for the alternative grass solution and there is no need to wheel out the lawnmower, there is no need for seeding and so you are provided with a front or back yard that looks fantastic all year round and doesn’t cost you any more money after the initial purchase.
